Minnie Driver thanks fate for everything she has.
The 56-year-old actress posted a video on Instagram on Thursday, August 6, in which she revealed that she was recovering from a "very serious car accident" that occurred during a trip to France.
«"Regarding Paris, I'm finally back in London. Sorry about the filter I used, but honestly, without it, I look terrible. Even a dog wouldn't look at me. A few days ago, I was in a really bad car accident with my friend Ben, and we miraculously survived," she began.
While filming the video, Driver lay in bed wearing a neck brace, with her small dog by her side.
«"Well, we didn't just crawl out of there on foot. But we made it out alive. To be perfectly clear, it wasn't our fault. We were driving down a country road in the middle of France, and a car didn't stop at an intersection, it was going at high speed, and we just slammed into it from the side.".
Star of the film "« Good Will Hunting» She said she was still in "shock" and cried constantly. Fortunately, she said, she escaped with only a "strained neck," despite the severity of the accident.

The actress also credited the Kia EV2 she and her friend were driving with saving their lives, joking that she was starring in a car commercial.
«"Honestly, I'm alive thanks to the car we were riding in. We were in this little Kia EV2. I'd never been in an accident before, but the 360-degree airbags saved our lives, preventing us from being crushed," she said.
«"Because of the design of this car, they survived," she said, calling it "frankly amazing.".
«I want to celebrate this car. You know, I’m Minnie Driver, so to speak,» she joked. «I need to celebrate the car that saved us, because we have families and people who love us. I’m so grateful to be alive. Kia, you’re an amazing car company. You’re amazing, and thank you so much from me and my friend.” Ben Homewood , from my family and from the people who love me.".
