Presenter Monty Don has been reminded of the BBC's clothing policy after appearing on Gardeners' World wearing a jacket from a company he recently endorsed.
The BBC's editorial guidelines state that presenters must not "appear on air wearing clothing or using goods, services or products that they have agreed to advertise or are contracted to promote.".
Don recently starred in a video for Barbour's "It's A Way of Life" advertising campaign.
A BBC spokesman said: "We have clear rules around presenters' commercial activities while working for the BBC and Monty has been reminded of these rules.".
Don is the presenter of the BBC Two programme, which has been on air for almost 60 years.
Two years ago, Gary Lineker received a similar reminder after appearing to wear items from his own Next fashion collection during the BBC's Euro 2024 broadcast.
