Netflix has added another film cancelled since 2026 to its growing slate, though the streaming giant itself has said virtually nothing about it.
So far this year, the following series have been cancelled: «The Abandons », «Terminator Zero» , «The Vince Staples Show» , «Pop The Balloon LIVE» , «"Selling the City", «With Love, Meghan» , «Alice in Borderland» , «Class» , «Miss Governor» . Netflix also confirmed the cancellation of five other series: «Alpha Males» , «Breathless» , «The Night Agent» , «The Lincoln Lawyer» и «Survival of the Thickest» .
Now they have been joined by another player who spent only one season in their ranks.
The creator of the series "The Strip Law" announced the cancellation of the project.
Earlier this week, Cullen Crawford, creator of the Netflix animated series «"Law of the Strip", announced that the series would not be renewed for a second season.
«"I was told it wouldn't be on Netflix anymore. TV series "Striptease Law" »"," he wrote in a post on BlueSky. "I truly can't help but be grateful. Every step of the way, talented people worked on it, striving for nothing but pure, chaotic, insane joy, and I'm so, so proud of it. Thank you to everyone who gave it a chance. I thought it was hilarious.".
What is the "law of stripes"?
The 10-episode season premiered in February, and here's Netflix's official description of the series:
«"Stodgy lawyer Lincoln Gumb is too boring to win cases in Vegas until he teams up with local magician/hedonist Sheila Flambeau to add some glitz and glamour to the dumbest cases the city can throw at him.".
The series received high scores on Rotten Tomatoes: 75% from critics and 74% from audiences.
