Oprah Winfrey spoke about the touching gift Beyoncé sent her after receiving a letter from a fan praising her Renaissance World Tour.
The beloved TV host said her July 2023 concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey touched her so much that she felt compelled to write Beyoncé a personal letter. In response, the superstar surprised her with a memento from the tour.

The 72-year-old singer recalled the conversation during her appearance on the web show «"Are You Okay?"» , explaining that she was completely captivated by the performance. "I went to the Beyoncé Renaissance concert. I was absolutely blown away.".
She continued, "I wrote her a fan letter. She obviously liked it because she later sent me one of the Renaissance hats. Beyoncé sent me a hat!"«

Oprah couldn't stop talking about the show.
Oprah's delight after the MetLife Stadium concert was also evident in a post she posted on Instagram shortly after the event.
The legendary TV host posted a video of herself dancing with her longtime friend Gayle King, 71, and Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, 72, to Beyoncé's performance of "Break My Soul.".

The caption read: "I have never experienced anything so transcendent in my life. Such talent, synergy, self-expression, and anointing come directly from the Source that creates the planets.".
Adding: "The dancers, director, musicians, and the entire team, both in front of and behind the scenes, worked together perfectly to create a true renaissance in the modern world. You absolutely must see it.".

In another recent interview, Oprah also revealed that her real name is Orpah, not Oprah , explaining that the spelling changed when she was a child because "nobody knew how to spell it correctly.".

Oprah said she was about 20 years old when she learned her legal name was still Orpah. «It wasn’t something that shaped me. I was a kid. Nobody knew how to spell it. So my birth certificate said my name was Orpah. And then people started calling me Oprah. The only difference is whether the P comes before the R or after the R. Once they started calling me Oprah, everything changed.».
She then noted that 32-year-old Keke Palmer was born Lauren Keyana Palmer, adding, "I'm so glad you know that!"«
