Show Love Island USA quickly gained popularity among Peacock viewers.
The NBCUniversal-owned streaming service reports that 824 million minutes were watched in the first three days of season eight, a record for any Peacock original series over such a long period. This figure is a whopping 74 percent higher than the first three days of last year's season.

However, if these two metrics are even close, the opening of season eight will easily surpass the opening of season seven.
The seventh season of the reality show «Love Island USA» has become one of the most popular original series of 2025 on streaming platforms. According to Nielsen, the show was watched 13.46 billion minutes in a year (including time spent watching previous seasons), and NBCUniversal's own data showed more than 18 billion minutes watched, including all mobile devices.
