Eppler was quick to laugh off his bizarre comment, but BTS fans certainly aren't letting him forget it.

At the time of this writing, no apology has been received from Eppler and/or FOX 34. Eppler is also an adjunct faculty member at Texas Tech University.

On June 8, OREO will launch a limited-edition cookie lineup featuring a traditional purple wafer and a brown sugar pancake-flavored cookie inspired by the popular Korean dish hotteok.

«"In Korea, there's a national snack called hotteok, and we took inspiration from it and explained to OREO what it tastes like," Jin said of the flavor. "We wanted to share with everyone the dessert flavors Koreans love. It really does taste very similar to hotteok.".

The cookies will also be part of the band's 13th anniversary celebrations, with 13 different embossing options available for fans to choose from.
