A new music festival dedicated to nostalgia for the 2000s kicks off this weekend.
Weston-super-Mare will host Summer Fest on the Beach, featuring acts including Craig David, Sister Sledge, Dizzee Rascal and Blue.
Festival director Ian Rogers said that despite heavy rain forecast for the weekend, around 35,000 visitors were expected.
Rogers said: "We want as many people as possible to come there so they can see it and ensure the future of the place. £3.5 million has been invested in organising the event, so we really want people to see how beneficial it is for Weston and the surrounding area.".

Friday will feature a live band performing Ibiza classics from the 90s and 2000s, as well as some of the original vocalists.
Saturday also features Five, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Feeder, while Sunday's headline will be Madness, who will follow Sister Sledge, Razorlight, The Feeling and more.
The event is a tribute to the T4 beach complex, which attracted tens of thousands of people to Weston-super-Mare for seven years but closed in 2013 due to a lack of tickets.
Rogers added: "We saw how much nostalgia people felt for T4 on the beach, so we went down this route to give people the opportunity to relive their memories.".
He acknowledged that the gloomy weather forecast on Saturday had affected sales.
«"We can only cope with what we've been dealt," he said.
«"People will have to dress appropriately. Music festivals are inextricably linked with the need to adapt to the weather.".
«"More people buy tickets when they know it's going to be sunny," he added.
«"Usually there is an increase in sales of 30% over the last week, but we didn't notice it.".
Links to free tickets appeared online, but Rogers said they were provided to event partners and not to the general public.
Everything you need to know
Doors opened at 3:00 PM BST on Friday. A variety of themed bars, street food from around the world, rides, market stalls, and face painting await.
On weekends the festival opens at 11:00 and ends on Saturday at 22:30.
In addition to public parking, the complex offers a limited number of parking spaces that can be reserved online, as well as a park and ride facility.
Extra trains will be running in Bristol for longer than usual, until 11:30pm.
