Tom Holland is full of praise for his co-star Zendaya as the pair head out to promote their two exciting blockbusters.
When Holland, 30, appeared on the Tuesday, June 2, episode of the podcast Good Hang with Amy Poehler , The actor called 29-year-old Zendaya one of the best actresses in the film and television industry. "I think what I love most about her acting is that she's just so fearless," he said when host Amy Poehler asked him what he'd learned from living with Zendaya and watching her work.
«"She absolutely gives it her all, like she's saying, 'I'm going to give this my all.' I think when you watch her as Rue in ["„ Euphoria “], she’s completely different from herself in real life,» Holland said. «And if you look at her as Emma in „Drama“ , "It's a completely different performance, but no less driven, passionate, and energetic. I think she's a better actress; I really think there's something special about her.".

Holland and Zendaya met while working together on the 2017 superhero film «Spider-Man: Homecoming» . The couple officially announced their relationship in 2021, and PEOPLE magazine first confirmed their engagement in January 2025. Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, announced in March that the couple had already married, but Holland and Zendaya, who prefer to keep their life together private, have not yet confirmed whether they have officially tied the knot.
«"It's a crazy world, working in this industry. There are ups and downs," Holland said, describing the perks of living with a fellow movie star. "It's so nice to have someone who understands it on a personal level, someone you can support or encourage. It's a lifeline, really. I can't imagine doing my job without her.".
This summer, Holland and Zendaya's relationship will be on display more openly than usual as they star together in two of the summer's most anticipated films. In the Odyssey« Christopher Nolan stars Holland as Telemachus, the son of Odysseus (Matt Damon) and Penelope (Anne Hathaway), and Zendaya as Athena, the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom.

Just two weeks later, Holland and Zendaya will return to the big screen in the film «Spider-Man: New Day» , in which Holland's Peter Parker now lives in a world where his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) has forgotten who he is.
During his appearance on the Pauler podcast, Holland also noted how the strength of his relationship with Zendaya has allowed the couple to enhance scenes in films such as «Spider-Man» . He explained that he and Zendaya realized that one of the scenes they were filming for the movie wasn't working for them, and ended up reworking it into a scene that he thinks now "sounds great.".
«We had an amazing moment on set film "Spider-Man: New Day"« , »And this only happened because of our relationship,” he said of the event.
