The trailer for the ABC and Hulu spinoff has just been released, and it hints at fierce competition and plenty of drama.

In the DWTS spinoff, last season's winner, Mirrorball winner, and conservationist Robert Irvine will showcase his hosting skills. "We've scoured the world of ballroom dancing to find 12 of the best dancers from around the world. These dancers will face challenging challenges from our incredible judges," Irvine announced in the trailer.
The DWTS: The Next Pro judges panel features well-known faces. Three-time Mirrorball winner Mark Ballas will be joined by his mother, Shirley Ballas, a longtime judge on Strictly Come Dancing. Viewers will also be able to see DWTS professional dancers Witney Carson, Britt Stewart, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Brandon Armstrong, and Derek Hough at the judges' table.
Meanwhile, the teaser showed the dancers struggling with complex choreography, injuries, and conflicts among themselves. As an added surprise, the group will be living in the same house. Hello, bunk beds!
So, who exactly is participating in this dance competition? Among the contestants is Selena Hamilton, who toured with Doechi as a backup dancer. Of course, some of the participants have ties to "Dancing with the Stars.".
Professional dancer Ezra Sosa's sister, Stephanie Sosa, is trying to make a name for herself on the dance floor, while Allen Genkin won a ballroom competition in 2012. Benji Castro, a contestant on "So You Think You Can Dance," is also aiming for victory, as is Jake Monreal, who competed on "Dancing with the Stars Juniors." He later showcased his dancing skills on season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars.".
Also among the contestants will be AJ Pritchard, who competed in the seventh season of Britain's Got Talent and danced the waltz professionally for four seasons on Strictly Come Dancing.
"Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro" premieres Monday, July 13, on ABC. Episodes will be available to watch on Hulu the following day.
