Tristan and Kamohay Kalama were moved to tears as they watched their son celebrate his special day.
On Wednesday, June 3, the stars reality show «Renovation Aloha» congratulated their son, Vale, on his 8th birthday on social media. "Our son, you are such a joy and a blessing. You are so smart, kind, ambitious, talented, and stubborn," the couple wrote on their joint Instagram page. "You make us proud every day. Lord, please slow down time... we can't believe it's been 8 years with you already!"«
They concluded their birthday message with, "Happy Birthday. Love your parents." The post featured a montage of videos of Weil with family and friends over the years. Fans flooded the post with their congratulations, including Mika Kleinschmidt, the couple's co-star. «"Battle on the Beach"» , who wrote: "Hope he has the best birthday ever! Hold on tight. Time flies so fast.".
One user commented, "Happy birthday to the sweetest little one with your big, kind heart and his mom's beautiful eyes. Enjoy the wonderful years... they fly by." Another added, "Happy 8th birthday!!!! Have a wonderful celebration!!!"«
Someone else wrote, "You have the most adorable kids. Happy birthday to him and big hugs from my kids." Another person added, "Happy birthday. Such a sweet, charming young man!" Another commenter wrote, "Happy birthday, baby, many blessings to you.".
Tristan and Camohai have been married since 2016. Vale is the youngest of the couple's two children, along with their daughter Yasiel.
In a video posted to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Tristan and Camohai kicked off Vale's 8th birthday celebration with a surprise—a special donut for breakfast. "We have an 8-year-old today," they captioned the video.
Later, the Calam family reposted a video shared by their daughter-in-law, Taylor Haxton, on Instagram Stories, showing the family celebrating Vail's birthday at a hibachi restaurant. "Celebrating our baby boy's birthday," Haxton captioned the video, which features a band singing for Vail.
Last month, the couple shared several photos of themselves and their children on Instagram in honor of Mother's Day. In another festive post, Kamokhai showed fans how he and his children were preparing Mother's Day gifts for Tristan.

The trio ended up "hastily" gathering gifts and hiding them, as Tristan returned home shortly after their shopping trip. Among the gifts were a Roomba, a bouquet of red roses, and a balloon with the words "Happy Mother's Day" written on it—the latter of which was a joke gift, as Kamohay said Tristan "hated balloons.".
The video shows the family surprising Tristan with gifts for Mother's Day. "I love you all," Tristan exclaimed, reading the children's homemade poster, adorned with several chocolate bars.
