( NewsNation ) — Stephen A. Smith criticized President Donald Trump's performance during his second term.
On Friday, the ESPN analyst joined "CUOMO" to discuss the latest political news, including the proposal to issue a $250 bill featuring Trump.
Referring to the fact that artists have refused to perform at the White House celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, Smith suggested that the dislike for Trump goes beyond his policies.
«"He's completely destabilized the system because of the way he wants to operate," Smith said.
Hegseth: Trump is a patient while a possible deal with Iran is being discussed.
Smith also criticized the possibility of Trump's bill passing, saying, "You know damn well no one else could get away with this," citing former President Barack Obama as an example of someone who failed to do so.
He argued that conservatives have long held traditions sacred, but that such rhetoric "disappeared when it came to Trump.".
«"As for this man, an exception was made for him. And he was supported by people in government positions who are afraid of losing their jobs but are not fulfilling their duties," Smith added.
«"You went against the American way of life, the American system, and in some cases—I wouldn't say they were constitutional violations, because I don't think he went that far—but what they got away with will come back to haunt them.".
