ImGist - I Am the Essence

Britney Spears reflects on the "higher consciousness" she experienced in her life.

Britney Spears revealed she experienced "the highest level of consciousness" she's "ever felt in my life." Returning to Instagram on Thursday, the pop princess posted a series of typed notes, one of which stated she had decided to "choose animals over people.".

«"I actually AWAKENED and KNEW that sleeping in bed with a lion... something so holy and regal, unlike sleeping with a human, honestly gave me the highest awareness I have ever experienced in my life," she wrote, without elaborating.

Britney also told fans that she's been experimenting with crafts this year and recently started making her own stained glass lamp.

«"I have a lot of emotional issues that arise in the kitchen... I have no idea why... I guess it's usually where we gather as a family to celebrate, pray, and cook, and for some reason I was there doing my crafts..." the 44-year-old woman continued. "Then I started painting, and I painted all night... When I was done, I turned off all the lights, and then turned on my upside-down stained-glass lamp... To my surprise, it wasn't perfect, but my heart and whole body merged with it, and I melted into the soft pink-purple light before me, as if I had fallen in love..."»

But while the project was sitting unfinished in her kitchen, the "Toxic" singer's maid "accidentally threw it away like it was a napkin.".

«"The light was so soft and not too bright that it created a feeling of complete peace… It sat in my kitchen for three months," she added. "I'm so used to people taking my things, like all my jewelry two years ago… my two closets with my entire coat collection, which I've been collecting for 40 years, and they were the best coats, my friends.".

Britney's posts come about a month after she was discharged from rehab.

In April, a representative for the pop icon confirmed that she had undergone treatment at a specialized facility following her arrest in Ventura County, California, on suspicion of drunk driving the previous month.

At a subsequent court hearing, Britney's lawyer found her guilty of one count of careless driving. She was sentenced to one year of probation and required to complete a three-month rehabilitation program for drunk driving.
