Will Forte's most memorable moment in the film "Seasons"« It wasn't all fun, but it did feature real turkey.
The star, who returned for the second season of the Netflix comedy, told PEOPLE that his villainous moment this season—when his character, Jack, kicks his friends' Thanksgiving turkey across the lawn—was filmed in one take and during an actual Thanksgiving feast.
In Episode 5, "The Big Thanksgiving," Jack has a full-blown breakdown due to his friendships (and ongoing misunderstandings with his wife, Kate, played by Tina Fey) when he confronts Danny, played by Colman Domingo, in the middle of a holiday dinner.
While Danny tells him to "take a deep breath," Jack does the opposite—he grabs the cooked turkey, runs outside, and kicks it in front of everyone. As a result, he falls off the porch and breaks his leg, which could impact his marathon training.

«"It was a total disaster," says Forte, 55. "In that particular shot, there are cameras everywhere because you don't know how many takes you're going to have, and you're hoping you get it right the first time because there's a lot of tweaking involved, and there's the stunt too. So there's a lot of pressure, but at the same time, it was so much fun kicking the turkey. And somehow we rehearsed it well enough that I think I got it right the first time.".
«"When else did I get a chance to kick a turkey?" he jokes. "But my foot smelled for a week because I didn't wash.".

Forte's friends, Marco Calvani (Claude) and Erika Henningsen (Ginny), also laughed at the fictional conflict, with Henningsen telling PEOPLE that Forte "really has to bear the brunt" of the physical comedy this season.
«"Right before he kicked the turkey, I remember him coming out of the bedroom, all mad at Danny, and we were all sitting there," Calvani adds. "And it was really hilarious to watch.".
The second season of the series «The Four Seasons» continues the tragic finale of the first season, when the death of Nick, played by Steve Carell, plunged the group of friends into mourning. Jack misses his best friend, and Ginny faces the reality of raising a child without Nick, and the new episodes show what life is like for the group in the afterlife. In addition to Fey, Forte, Calvani, Domingo, and Henningsen, the cast also includes Kerri Kenney-Silver as Anne.
«"I think the most interesting thing about this season is that in the first season, people were experiencing different things, and they were reacting to them, trying to respond to external stimuli. This season, all the characters actually make decisions to do something," Henningsen explains.
«"They make big decisions. They take such drastic steps because that's what happens when someone dies. It was so interesting to watch the actors and how the characters' personalities developed as they made those decisions.".
Kalvani adds, «They feel they must change and become the best version of themselves before it’s too late: „We could die in a car crash right now. So what was my life? Why am I here? What’s the meaning? What’s the value of all this? And should I leave something behind?“ If that something is the image of a child, then Danny and Claude are asking themselves that same question… It was such a joy to get to know these characters even more.».
