Will Smith's ex-wife, Shere Zampino, has filed a lawsuit against Bilaal Salaam, the movie star's former friend and rapper who lost his lawsuit against Jada Pinkett Smith this month over statements he made in an interview with blogger Tasha K.
According to TMZ, Zampino, who was married to Smith from 1992 to 1995, claimed in the lawsuit that Salaam "turned his attention" on her by making "outrageously offensive, shocking, and hurtful statements" during an interview with Tasha K. In the lawsuit, Zampino highlighted a portion of the interview with the caption: "Exclusive: Bilaal claims Will Smith's ex-wife, Shere Zampino, slept with everyone in [Hollywood]!!!"«
Although the interview segment was later deleted, Salaam made even more derogatory remarks about Smith's ex-wife in the full version. He called her a "slut" several times throughout the episode. Unwine with Tasha K and claimed that at one point she "slept with everyone in Hollywood." Zampino denied these claims, arguing that under California law they should be considered defamation.
She filed a lawsuit for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, seeking more than $1 million in damages, costs, and additional punitive damages.

Salaam was previously friends with Will Smith, but their relationship soured after he repeatedly made public comments about the actor, his family, and his friends. Earlier this month, a Los Angeles judge ordered him to pay Jada Pinkett Smith over $32,000 in legal fees after losing a $3 million lawsuit against her for alleged threats. In December 2025, Salaam filed a lawsuit accusing Pinkett Smith of making threats against him during a 2021 meeting at the Regency Calabasas Commons hotel in California.
