White's marriage to Jean appears to be ending on a sour note. According to court documents obtained, Jean filed for divorce on June 3, accusing the musician of "inappropriate conduct within the marriage," claiming it made their continued cohabitation "unsafe and inappropriate.".
The statement does not provide further details about the allegations, but Jean reportedly seeks financial support and has requested to remain the beneficiary of White's life insurance policy. The couple listed the date of the statement as the official date of their separation.
The split comes less than four years after their whirlwind romance culminated in an on-stage wedding, which, according to TMZ, added an unexpected twist to one of rock music's most unconventional love stories.
