Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are set to revive the classic 1980s family drama. «The Littlest Tramp» for the Canadian channel Crave.
Point Grey Pictures and Lionsgate Canada's partnership on the live-action drama series follows their work together on series "The Studio" for Apple TV. Rogen's Hollywood-parodying series won the 2025 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor, Outstanding Writing, and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. «The Studio» , as well as the prize for best overall comedy performance.

Reimagining the series «The Littlest Tramp» The series about a stray German Shepherd who wanders and helps those in need ran on CBC from 1979 to 1985. The revival is the first project to be developed under an agreement between Bell Media, Crave's parent company, Lionsgate Canada, and Point Grey Pictures. Rose Ushalkas and Christopher Dew of New Hobo Productions are behind the project.

And while Tramp may be small, we promise big adventures ahead. That doesn't mean the dog will become huge like Clifford. Tramp will still be small. But the adventures will be epic," Rogen and Goldberg said in a statement.
«We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Point Grey and Bell Media to bring a new take on this beloved series to Canadian audiences,» Scott Herbst, executive vice president and head of scripted development for Lionsgate Television Group, and Jocelyn Hamilton, president of Lionsgate Canada Television, said in a statement.
Information about casting, production, and the launch of the revived series has not yet been announced.
