«"Every day, Project Angel Food travels great distances for the people who depend on us, using 16 refrigerated vans that travel 17,700 miles on 81 routes in Los Angeles County," said Brad Bessey, executive producer of Lead With Love: Going the Distance. "With monthly fuel costs approaching $15,000—an increase of $55% in just 30 days—we're assembling an incredible lineup of artists for a joyful evening of television to help keep these vans on the road and delivering food to our neighbors in need.".

Lead with Love, now in its seventh year, has been nominated for three Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. Last year, the telethon raised nearly $722,000.

«"Project Angel Food was founded on the belief that no one facing a serious illness should have to endure both hunger and isolation," said Richard Ayoub, CEO and executive producer of Project Angel Food. "The Emmy nomination is a wonderful recognition of the people who made this special project a reality, but its greatest impact is measured by the number of meals delivered and the lives we've helped. Every donation made during Lead with Love: Going the Distance helps us provide support, food, and compassion to our neighbors when they need it most.".

In addition to Bessie and Ayoub, Michelle Robinson and Mark McBride serve as executive producers. Marcus Smith, Jacob Birch, and Chris Reilly serve as executive producers for KTLA 5.

The telethon will also be streamed on KTLA and Project Angel Food's digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as on KTLA+ via Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Samsung smart TVs.

City National Bank returns as its long-standing title sponsor for this special edition. Yaamava' Resort & Casino and the Herb Ritts Foundation are title sponsors, and the Edward F. Limato Foundation joins as a primary sponsor.
