ImGist - I Am the Essence

Miranda Kerr's Met Gala hairstyle featured a glossy finish.

Miranda Kerr's Met Gala look was masterminded by celebrity hairstylist Erica Verrett, who created a radiant, parted-up hairstyle inspired by the freshness of spring and the delicate beauty of lilies of the valley. Miranda's white Dior gown made a striking statement, while her hairstyle created a softer contrast.

«The inspiration was the freshness of spring, like that of lilies of the valley – light, airy and slightly careless, with a natural movement that seems as effortless as the first warm day of the season,» Erica explained.

The look was based on Glaze Supergloss in Sheer Glow. Applied to clean, damp hair and left on for 10 minutes, it created that radiant shine typically associated with salon treatments. Besides shine, the formula helps intensify color, improve softness, and hydrate hair, leaving it healthier and smoother to the touch for up to 10 washes.

After rinsing, Erica applied Glaze MirrorGlaze Super Sleek Shine Spray to mid-lengths and ends, then blow-dried with a round brush. This step was designed to enhance shine, control frizz, and protect hair from heat styling. The formula also helps protect hair from humidity, making it especially useful for keeping hair looking fresh throughout a long event.

After the hair dried, Erica refined the shape using a flat iron and a round brush, creating softness and movement without losing shine. The hair was then styled into a loose, half-up ponytail, with the ends falling freely past Miranda's shoulders.

In a night when bold beauty statements often dominate conversation, Miranda's approach proved that exceptional shine can be just as impressive.
