This week, Niall Horan nearly achieved another number one hit in the country, but another pop star prevented him from reaching the top spot on the sales charts shortly before the release of his new album.

This isn't surprising, given that "Hate That I Made You Love Me" tops nearly every chart it enters this week, including the Official Singles Chart, the main singles chart on the other side of the Atlantic.

Arthur Hill debuts with "Hot Sprite" at number two, narrowly beating out Horan's latest effort.
