Nicolas Cage, star of the new series «Spider-Man: Noir» on Prime Video, in a new interview with Complex News, he recalled some of his memorable roles that turned into memes.
The legendary actor spoke with Complex's Mami Tiff, who showed Cage classic memes from some of his films, including «Vampire's Kiss» , «The Wicker Man» и «"Air Prison"» .
«"Is there any other actor who experiences this at this level?" Cage joked.
Discussing a scene from the movie «"Vampire's Kiss", In a now-meme-worthy scene featuring Cage's unstable Peter Lowe character (who, over the course of the delightful film, begins to believe he's turning into a vampire), the actor said he believes the "Really?" meme created from the moment is more recognizable than the scene itself.

As for film "The Wicker Man"« , Cage shared a "weird story" about a scene where his character Edward Malus wore a wire cage filled with bees on his head.
«"I never understood why my grandfather, when I was about eight years old, wanted to make a fly trap. He made this weird wire trap and filled it with honey to catch flies, it was just incredible," Cage explained.
This memory gave me the idea to add a trap in The Wicker Man« .
Another meme was inspired by a 1997 film. «Faceless» , where Cage played Castor Troy and John Travolta played Sean Archer. The actor explained that Troy was the "bad guy" who "did inappropriate things" in the meme. in the film "Con Air"« , However, Cage's character, Cameron Poe, was supposed to experience "joy and bliss" after being released from a maximum security prison.
«"I just said to myself, 'I need to take this moment, give me a second,'" Cage recalled. "'Let me enjoy the sun and this bliss, because that's what's most important to this character.'".
