Penelope Cruz is gearing up for a busy year in film, thanks to her film «"Black Ball", which will be released at the Cannes Film Festival, and the upcoming summer black comedy «"Invitation"» .
While the first film won't be released in Spain until September, the second will be shown in select cinemas on June 26th, with a wider release starting on July 10th, and we're already looking forward to seeing a new side of the Oscar-winning actress's talent.

Including a new hairstyle! New posters and the second trailer for the film, released on June 4, showcase the actress's new hairstyle: instead of her usual dark, shoulder-length locks, she's opted for a light bob with dark roots.
Penelope, 52, plays Pina, while her on-screen partner Hawk is played by Edward Norton. The film stars Seth Rogen (as Joe) and Olivia Wilde (as Angela), with Olivia also directing the film, her first since the controversial sci-fi historical drama "« Don't worry, darling."» .
According to A24's official description of the film, "Sex Comedy," "Joe and Angela's marriage is on the rocks. When they invite their mysterious upstairs neighbors to a dinner party, the evening takes an unexpected turn. Will they rekindle the spark, or have they lit a match that will destroy everything?"«
The Invite debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January and received rave reviews for its witty comedy and performances. It also marks Penelope's second bob this year, following a shorter cut in Maggie Gyllenhaal's« The Bride! ), where she starred alongside Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale and Peter Sarsgaard.
