EXCLUSIVE: Stella Pecollo, best known for her work in the Universal film "« You, me and Tuscany"» , signed a contract with Prototype Talent Agency.
In the film, directed by Kat Coiro from a screenplay by Ryan Engle, Pecollo plays the funny and passionate Francesca, sister of Michael (Regé-Jean Page) and Matteo (Lorenzo de Moor), and confidante of Anna (Halle Bailey). Originally conceived as a depressed wife whose husband is cheating on her, the role was reimagined and expanded for Pecollo. Francesca became a cheerful woman who has a secret affair with Luigi, a plumber and Anna's closest ally.

Pecollo received an invitation from leading Italian publishing house Arnoldo Mondadori Editore to write her memoirs.« Io sono Bella» ( «"I am beautiful »), which is currently being adapted into both a one-woman show and a television series. This deeply moving yet humorous memoir chronicles her emotional journey to self-acceptance as a plus-size woman, amid the constant ridicule and bullying she endured as a child in Italy.
Pecollo is also the founder of the body-conscious clothing line Stella Pecollo Fashion Revolution.
She still works with 42 and Volver Actor agencies.
