The hosts dissected a deleted social media post by Tennessee Republican Andy Ogles, in which he claimed that "homosexuality has no place in America." Whoopi Goldberg condemned the "stupidity" of right-wing fanatics who advocate for "Nuclear Family Month" instead of supporting Pride.
«"In Tennessee, June is still called 'Nuclear Family Month,' which refers to families consisting of a man, a woman, and a child. I don't understand why you're upset about Pride Month," said the 70-year-old winner of all four major entertainment awards. "You can pick any month you want.".

Wednesday's guest co-host, journalist Kara Swisher, who has a family with her wife, Amanda Katz, lamented the fact that similar measures are being taken in the home state of Dolly Parton, a superstar, supporter of the LGBT community, and advocate for equality.
«"I think they're still trying to get back on the gay marriage issue," Swisher said, expressing concern that conservatives could try to overturn legal same-sex marriage in the future.
«"Dolly Parton is crying over Dollywood right now. Gay tourism to Dollywood is huge," Swisher continued. "By the way, it's a fantastic place! It's the only place where we all get along. Rednecks, gays... but I have four kids. It's just ridiculous.".

Since joining The View show In 2022, Griffin openly supported anti-LGBTQ+ politicians, including Nikki Haley, who has a controversial record on queer issues. However, Griffin ultimately criticized Haley for her shifting stance on Trump ahead of the 2024 election.
Haynes, who has a gay brother, has also been a vocal supporter of the queer community and LGBTQ couples seeking adoption.
«"You see all the children in this world who need homes," Haynes said. "There are people who seek them out simply to love them. Honesty and character have no identity of their own.".
«"Being heterosexual doesn't make him a good guy," she added, referring to Maine politician Graham Platner, who is currently embroiled in several scandals and hoping to secure the Democratic nomination for Maine's 2026 U.S. Senate race.
Swisher concluded by promising that gays have a plan and will "fight" against political attacks.

«"If you attack gays, you're attacking all of us," Haines said. "Lesbians will kick your ass!" Ogles' social media post even drew criticism from Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who said in an interview TMZ refuted Ogles' interpretation.

«"Throughout recorded history, homosexuals have been a part of humanity," Cruz told the publication. "I must say, I'm a libertarian by nature. I believe that the behavior of consenting adults is their own business.".
Ogles later claimed the post was made by an employee who was reportedly subsequently "told off.".
