The Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch was initially full of trouble and romance, and Oreana Jackson delivers both in equal measure. Her blossoming love story with Carter (Finn Little) is one of the most touching storylines of the first season, but the couple constantly finds themselves in trouble with the law and angry exes. Oreana looks set to become a key part of Dutton Ranch, but where have viewers seen this actress before?
Oreana is played by Natalie Alyn Lind, familiar to viewers from several popular series. She played Dana, Adam's ex-girlfriend, on The Goldbergs for the first three seasons, before making surprise guest appearances in other episodes. In 2015, Lind joined the cast of Gotham for seven episodes in its second season, playing the DC Comics character Silver St. Cloud.
«Gotham isn't Lind's only comic-book-inspired project. She also starred in the X-Men series The Gifted, playing Lauren Strucker, a gifted mutant on the run from persecution with her family. Moreover, Dutton Ranch isn't her first foray into a crime western.

While Dutton Ranch is set in Texas, the Yellowstone franchise is based in Montana. Given this, Natalie Alyn Lind is no stranger to Montana crime dramas, as she played a prominent role in the first season of Big Sky—a show worth watching if you enjoyed Yellowstone and its spinoff, Marshals.
Before starring in Big Sky, Lind starred in the second installment of Tell Me a Story on CBS All Access, playing a country music star who finds herself trapped in her home after a horrific car explosion leaves her with burns. The series is inspired by several classic fairy tales, and Lind's story, in turn, draws inspiration from Beauty and the Beast.
Finally, horror fans may associate Lind with Pet Sematary: Blood Ties, a prequel to the 2019 film adaptation of Stephen King's creepy short story. Like Dutton Ranch, that film is currently available to stream on Paramount+.
