Damon Wayans Jr. says working with his uncles Marlon and Shawn comes at a price.
Waynes Jr., 43, has worked with his 65-year-old father, Damon, on sitcoms such as« "Daddy's House"» on CBS. Now the younger Damon is starring in the franchise reboot. «Scary Movie» from Marlon and Shawn, which will be the first film from this series featuring the Waynes brothers since its release «Scary Movie 2» in 2001.

Original franchise stars Regina Hall and Anna Faris return to their starring roles, along with Marlon, 53, and Shawn, 55, who co-wrote the film with their brother Keenan Ivory, 67, and nephew Craig Wayans, 50.
«"I'm very proud of them. I think they fought hard and brought the franchise back. Special thanks to Harvey Weinstein," Damon Jr. told PEOPLE on the red carpet. (Marlon recently said in an interview Variety said Weinstein and his brother Bob Weinstein, who produced films in the early 2000s, "stole from us ["« Scary Movie »] before starting work on «Scary Movie 3» .)

Damon Jr. isn't the only member of the Wayans family to appear in the new film. His aunt, Kim Wayans, who also stars in the new movie, told PEOPLE on the red carpet that the film was "a healing moment and a beautiful moment" for her family.
