In the episode titled "Rumor," Pitt's character, Will Colbert, was in the school's "I Hate Rachel" club with Ross Geller, played by David Schwimmer.

At the time of filming, Pitt was married to 57-year-old Aniston, who played Rachel Green. The couple were married for five years before divorcing in 2005, but remained on friendly terms.

In an interview for Variety ‘'s Actors on Actors Kudrow and Aniston admitted that in the episodes of« Friends »The Thanksgiving special featured a host of famous guest stars.
«"When Brad was on the air, it was really funny," Kudrow said.
«"I know. How funny," Aniston added. "Movie stars who starred in «Friends» . Brad, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts. Isabella Rossellini. We had so many of them - Sean Penn.".
And although there were plenty of stars, the guests themselves were often nervous because they had to film a sitcom in front of a live studio audience.
«"They were always nervous. Remember? I was always amazed at how nervous they were," Aniston noted.
Kudrow added: «Yeah. Nervous. Well, because what’s the tone? This isn’t theater; this is television. This isn’t film. What the hell is this? And that’s a good question. And I remember someone asked me once. I didn’t know how to explain it, so I said, «Oh, just speak up. Same idea, just…»”
«"Just louder!" Aniston said.
