Having reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart (dated June 6) with Iceman song, Drake increased his total number of weeks at number one on the chart to 39, cementing his position as the hip-hop artist with the most weeks at number one and the Canadian artist with the most weeks at number one.

John's span of number one—just under three and a half years—belies his status as a dominant figure in pop music for over half a century. John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. Drake's chart-topping albums span nearly 16 years, from July 2010 to June 2026.
A few quick notes: While Elvis Presley's accomplishments on the Billboard Hot 100 chart are somewhat diminished by the fact that his 1956 breakthrough came more than two years before the launch of the major music chart Billboard , The Billboard 200 chart spans Presley's entire career. His debut album, Elvis Presley , entered the chart at number 11 on the March 31, 1956 issue—its second week on the chart.
If you count the soundtrack to the film "Saturday Night Fever"« (which stayed at number one for 24 weeks in 1978) by the Bee Gees, the trio had 31 weeks at the top of the chart. The album featured six Bee Gees tracks, five of which became number one hits on the Hot 100. But Billboard considers it a soundtrack album with several artists.
