Pop Base shared the news on their X account, posting photos of the Grammy winner and a movie poster, which Lizzo then reposted with the caption, "Coming to ruin me," and adding a crying-eyes emoji.
Her tweet came 10 days after she responded to a Taylor Swift fan, directly denying rumors of her relationship with her.

Then, on May 22, user X posted a cryptic comparison of sales of Swift's new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," to Lizzo's mixtape, "2025," writing, "The Life of a Showgirl + MY FACE HURTS FROM SMILING - 4.005 million (crown emoji). ICEMAN + MAID OF HONOR + HABIBTI - 683k (coffin emoji).".
The post made its way to Lizzo's page, prompting questions from her, with another fan responding, "This means all your Taylor talk is finally coming to fruition.".
