ImGist - I Am the Essence

Taylor Swift's record for most top 10 hits has been broken.

Two global charts Billboard , The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts have been around for just under six years. So it's no surprise that many of the most successful artists on these charts are today's top hitmakers. Artists like Bad Bunny, BTS, Future, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, and many others boast the most number ones, top 10 hits, and impressive chart appearances.

The two superstars have been battling for the record for most top 10 hits, and this week, with Drake nearly taking over the position entirely, he overtook the planet's leading female star.

Drake has unveiled eight songs from his Iceman album, included in the top 10.

Eight songs from Drake's new album Iceman - one of the three he released simultaneously, along with Habibti и Maid of Honor – debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200 this week. Only Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" and K-pop boy band BTS's "Swim," which both fell in the rankings due to Drake's dominance, prevented the Canadian talent from achieving historic success.

These are all the Drake hits that made it into the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200 chart this week.

She stood out as the only one to have charted in the top 40 for consecutive months. Swift reached that mark last year with her latest full-length album. The Life of a Showgirl . The blockbuster debuted with nine songs at positions 1-10 on the chart dated October 18, 2025. Only "Golden" out of K-pop Demon Hunters prevented her from achieving complete victory.

Currently, no other artist seems close to challenging either of them for this historic record. Bad Bunny ranks third with 25 top 10 hits. Drake hits No. 1 on the charts again with "Janice STFU.".

Just a few days ago, he was tied with Olivia Rodrigo, Jungkook, Blackpink, Bruno Mars, and Justin Bieber, but now he's surpassed that group of celebrities.

Drake helped bring "Laugh Now Cry Later" to the charts.

Drake entered the top 10 of the inaugural Billboard Global 200 chart, dated September 19, 2020. That week, his song "Laugh Now Cry Later," featuring hip-hop artist Lil Durk, debuted at No. 5, which later became its all-time peak. Drake nearly doubled his chart-topping success, but fell just one spot short. "Popstar," featuring DJ Khaled, debuted at No. 11.
